Effective Date of Policy
This Policy is effective as of: February 8, 2010.
Collection of Information: Generally
You can generally visit the Site without revealing any your personally identifiable information. Personally identifiable information ("PII") is generally defined as information that may be able to identify you such as, yet not limited to, your name, address, telephone number, email address, credit card number, photograph, age, etc.
By using the Site and supplying PII to TJM, you agree that we can collect, use, and/or share your PII in accordance with this Policy.
Collection of Information: What You Provide to TJM
There are areas and services of the Site where you may be asked to provide TJM with PII. For example, we will need some basic information from you if you want to set up a Site online account to purchase items. Some of that information may include your name, address, telephone number, email address, age, gender, and credit card number. In addition to the above, we also will ask you which radio station you listen to regularly.
Depending on the nature of your activity, such as when you post/upload content with PII to the Site, other users may be able to view your PII. TJM also reserves the right to modify or delete any content, including PII, you post/upload to the Site.
Collection of Information: Other Information We May Collect
In addition to information you specifically provide to TJM, we may collect other information from you.
We use tracking technology to track the general geographic locations of visitors to the Site, and the number of visitors to the Site. This information is anonymous and does not reveal any personally identifiable information about you.
Collection of Information: How TJM Uses Your Information
TJM uses the information, including PII, we collect from you to:
- administer your Site online account and allow you to purchase items from our online store.
- internally track your Site online account use and the content you post/upload.
- contact you for any reason related to your use of the Site.
- respond to any questions from you.
- maintain back-up copies of data for record keeping purposes.
- Gather marketing data
Collection of Information: Sharing Your Information with Third Parties
TJM will share portions of your PII information with our online store fulfillment partners so that your online orders can be processed, filled, and shipped to you. For example, we will need to share your name and address with couriers in order for them to deliver your purchased items.
We will also need to share your name, address, and credit card information with our credit card processing vendor in order to process your purchases.TJM does not process any credit card purchases and does not maintain any credit cards in its files or databases.
We may also share your name and email address with our marketing vendor, KMA Direct Communications, for the purposes of sending out email notifications and to assist us with donor development.
TJM may share your PII with a third party if TJM's ownership status changes. For example, we will need to share your information with an acquiring or merging third party.
Other than what is referenced above, PII collected from you is not shared with or sold to any person or entity outside of TJM.
The Site is not directed at, marketed to, nor intended for, children under 13 years of age. TJM does not knowingly collect any information, including PII, from children under 13 years of age. If TJM learns that any information was provided through the Site by a person younger than 13 years of age, TJM will delete the information immediately.
Review and Modification of Collected Information
If you would like to review, edit or delete any of the PII we collected from you, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or access your Site online account.
Please note that even after you edit or delete content posted publically on the Site, copies of that same content may still be available on other sites depending on how it was shared.
If you would like to delete your Site online account, please contact email@example.com.
TJM may update this Policy from time to time. Any changes to this Policy will be posted below for a period of thirty (30) days prior to taking effect. TJM will also send users who have signed up for Site online accounts an email outlining any changes to the Policy at least thirty (30) days prior to such changes taking effect. Your continued use of the Site after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If any changes are unacceptable to you, you should cease using the Site.
If any changes to this Policy affect how TJM treats or handles personally identifiable information already provided to TJM by you, TJM will notify you by email (to the extent TJM has an active email address associated with your PII) and give you thirty (30) days to opt out of the changes as they pertain to your information before such changes take effect. If TJM decides in the future to share any of the PII we collect through the Site with any third parties, we will request that the PII be treated, to the extent possible, in a manner consistent with this Policy.
TJM is serious about protecting the PII you send to us.
TJM uses industry standard security measures that are reasonably designed to help protect your PII from loss, unauthorized access, or disclosure. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software to encrypt sensitive information you input on the Site. Any PII we maintain is secured by a firewall.
You should exercise discretion in what information you post/upload to the Site. We cannot guarantee that information sent over the Internet is fully secure, and therefore the transmitted information may be intercepted by others before it reaches TJM.
If you are concerned about sending information to TJM over the Internet, do not send it. TJM is not responsible for the security of information sent to us over the Internet.
The Site is meant for individuals within the United States. TJM only knowingly collects information from individuals within the United States. If you provide information to us from outside of the United States, you do so at your own risk. If you are outside of the United States, you are responsible for complying with any local laws regarding use of the Site and data collection. This Policy only addresses data collection from individuals within the United States. Please note that by providing any information through the Site, you consent to have such information transmitted to and processed in the United States.
The Site may contain links to external sites not controlled by TJM. TJM is not responsible for the privacy practices and data collection policies for such third party sites. You should consult the privacy policies of those sites for details.
TJM reserves the right to disclose any of your collected information, including PII, if we reasonably believe: (1) it is required to do so by law; (2) we should in cooperation with a governmental or law enforcement investigation; and/or (3) it would prevent imminent bodily harm, fraud, harm to TJM, or any other illegal activity.
